Iron ore concentrate output up 18%

TEHRAN- Iran’s production of iron ore concentrate during the seven-month period ended on October 22 rose 18 percent compared to the figure of the same period of time in the past year, IRIB reported on Sunday citing the data released by Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
As reported, the country’s iron ore concentrate output stood at 25.892 million tons during the seven-month period of this year, rising from 21.871 million tons in the same time span of the previous year.
Also, production of iron ore pellet in Iran witnessed a 12-percent rise during the seven-month time, rising to 3.216 million tons from 2.976 million tons in same time last year.
