Tehran museum displays posters on tourism
TEHRAN – “Travel Season”, an exhibition of posters promoting the tourism industry in Iran during the 1960s, is currently underway in an exhibition at the Iranian Museum of Graphic Design in Tehran.
The posters were designed by Hushnag Kazemi, Parviz Dibai, Asad Behruzan, Jamal Khorraminjead and several other artists, the museum announced on Sunday.
The posters had been collected by the then Tourism Organization in the 1960s.
A collection of architectural sketches by Mohammad Naseripur is also on display on the sidelines of the exhibition, which is being organized under the auspices of the Iranian Graphic Designers Society.
The museum is located at Police Park, Estaqelal Blvd., Baqeri Highway.
