TEHJRAN – Iran defeated Sri Lanka in straight sets to book a place at the 2018 Asian Boys' U18 Volleyball Championship’s quarter-final.

On Monday in Tabriz’s Poursharifi Gymnasium, the Iranian team defeated Sri Lanka 3-0 (25–21, 25–17, 25– 13) and will face India on Wednesday in the competition’s quarter-final.

The 2018 Asian Boys' U18 Volleyball Championship is the 12th edition of the Asian Boys' U18 Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation (IRIVF) for the boys' under-18 national teams of Asia.

The tournament is being held in Tabriz, Iran, from 29 June to 6 July 2018.
