Rasul Khadem named Iran’s freestyle wrestling team coach

TEHRAN – Rasoul Khadem has been named as new head coach of Iran’s freestyle wrestling team on Sunday.
Khadem replaces Mohammad Talaei in the wrestling national team.
He is currently President of Iran Wrestling Federation, and will serve as head of the federation until 2021.
Khadem won a bronze medal in the 1992 Summer Olympics and a gold medal in the 1996 Summer Olympics.
He is also the 1994 and 1995 world champion and the 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996 Asian champion.
He was trained by his father Mohammad Khadem, and he is the brother of Amir Reza Khadem.
