TEHRAN – Four new giant container vessels are planned to be added to the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL)’s fleet next year, Tasnim news agency reported on Friday quoting IRISL’s managing director as saying.

According to the official, with the new ships added, IRISL’s container capacity will reach 150,000 TEU to boost the country’s shipping lines ranking to 16 from its current 20 among the world’s top shipping lines.
