TEHRAN – Kerman province’s tourism body is about to embark on a familiarization tour for several Spanish-language tour operators to experience the southern Iranian region, CTHN reported.

15 Spanish-language tour operators will arrive in Kerman today to start the excursion titled “Fam Tour”, Mohammad Jahanshahi, a provincial tourism official said.

Organized under the auspices of the Marcopolo Tourism Holding Company and the Turkish Airlines, the program is aimed at increasing inbound travelers from southern Europe, Jahanshahi added.

The number of foreign tourists traveling to Kerman has raised five times over the past four years, the tourism body announced in May.
