TEHRAN – The Majlis is set to hold a session on Wednesday to elect a new presiding board, according to the incumbent presiding board’s spokesman.

Speaking to ICANA on Saturday, Behrooz Nemati said this will come as a postponement of a previous arrangement for Sunday.

The internal law says a new round of election for the presiding board should be held exactly one year after a previous one, he said, adding that makes Wednesday the day to hold the polling.
