Haddad-Adel will also continue in his post as speaker.
The constitution of the new board is the same as the previous one includes Haddad-Adel, who was re-elected to the post of speaker for the fourth consecutive term, Mohammad-Reza Bahonar and Mohammad-Hassan Aboutorabi-Fard as first and second vice-speakers, respectively, as well as six secretaries and three clerks.
Haddad-Adel took 170 votes out of a total of 263.
Out of a total vote of 262, Bahonar, who is the MP from southeastern cities of Ravar and Kerman, obtained 188 while Aboutorabi-Fard, MP from northwestern cities of Qazvin and Abyek, took 160.
Bahonar and Aboutorabi-Fard were the first and second vice-speakers during the past three years.
In the swearing-in ceremony, members of Majlis Presiding Board promised to make their utmost to implement the internal regulations of the Islamic Consultative Assembly with complete impartiality and fulfill their duties.
After the ceremony, Haddad-Adel expressed hope that the Majlis Presiding Board would carry out its duties in cooperation with MPs during the final working year of the 7th Majlis.
