TEHRAN – Mohammad Reza Aref, head of the reformists’ decision making council, said on Tuesday that reformists will back Hassan Rouhani in the May 19 presidential election.

Speaking to reporters after a Majlis session, Mohammad Reza Aref also said, “Seeing [Rouhani’s] performance and the unity of reformist forces, his vote will be higher” in the next month’s election in comparison to the 2013 polls, IRIB reported.

He also invited the involved parties to observe moral codes and give the highest priority to national interests.
