100-Second Film Festival announces intl. competition lineup
TEHRAN – Fifty-nine movies by filmmakers from 28 countries will be competing in the official section of the 11th International 100-Second Film Festival, the organizers announced on Sunday.
“You Are Not the Strongest” by Emilio Yebra from Spain, “The Broken Keys” by Lillian Atkins from England and “The Fisherman” by Ahmad Vahid Omidi from Afghanistan are among the films.
The lineup also includes “Teddy Bear” by Hermes Mangialardo from Italy, “Their Future Our Future” by Sally Snow from the Philippines, “Christmas” by Vojtech Domlatil from the Czech Republic and “Life Is Just a File” by Dikesh Khadgi Shahi from Nepal.
Organized by the Art Bureau of the Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization, the festival will be held in Tehran from February 22 to 24.
