Double-decker buses to offer hop-on hop-off tours in Tehran
TEHRAN – Open-top double-decker buses will be added to Tehran transport fleet within weeks, offering unlimited hop-on, hop-off access to downtown and across the capital city.
The services will offer multilingual audio-guided tours including stops that are conveniently placed by the must-see attractions such as Imam Khomeini Square, the National Museum, Arg Sq., and the National Jewelry Museum are amongst them.
The services will be operated by private section under the auspices of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Organization, ISNA reported on Friday.
Tickets will be varied from 24 hours, 48 hours and 72 hours, with costs ranging from 40 dollars to 60 dollars. Riders may hop-on and off as much as they desire during that time.
Tehran is one of the major tourist destinations in the country as it is home to hundreds of historical sites.
