TEHRAN – Chairman of the Russian-Iranian Business Council has said that no external players will be able to hamper relations between Moscow and Tehran.

Vladimir Obydenov told TASS on Thursday that Moscow and Tehran were close neighbors who “have a lot of common interests.”

Obydenov also hailed the growing trade and economic ties between Russia and Iran in various areas, including oil and gas industry, rail transport, energy and engineering sectors.

“Russia began to receive a large number of goods from Iran, Russian exports to Iran are growing, the tourism industry is developing,” he said.
