80% of basic goods being imported from Imam Khomeini Port

TEHRAN- About 80 percent of basic goods are imported to Iran from its southwestern Imam Khomeini Port, Managing Director of Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO) Mohammad Saeednejad announced.
As Mehr news agency quoted the Iranian official, Imam Khomeini Port plays an important role also in distribution of the imported goods across the country, regarding its access to domestic railway network.
