What’s in Tehran art galleries

Painting

* An exhibition of paintings by Bita Vakili is currently underway at E1 Gallery.

The exhibition named “Passageways” runs until February 10 at the gallery located at 1 Hamid Dead End, off Lesani Alley, Jebheh St., off Mahdieh St. in the Elahieh neighborhood.

* A collection of paintings by Saeid Khavarnejad is on display in an exhibition at Iranshahr Gallery.

The exhibition entitled “The Open” runs until February 8 at the gallery located at 69 Sepand St., off Karim Khan Ave.

* Paintings by Raha Sharafi-Aali are on display in an exhibition at Did Gallery.

The exhibit titled “Colorful Adornments” will be running until February 7 at the gallery, which can be found at No. 18 West 19 St., Ettehad St. in the Tehran Pars neighborhood.

* An exhibition of paintings by Sudabeh Zolfaqari is underway at Sayeh Gallery.

The exhibit named “To Be” will run until February 1 at the gallery located at 3 Aqakhani Alley, Omidvar St. in the Niavaran neighborhood.


Wood artwork

* Naqsh-e Jahan Gallery is playing host to an exhibition of woodcrafts by Shahriar Rahmani and Ghazal Alizadeh.

The exhibit entitled “Sherwood” runs until February 1 at the gallery that can be found at 9 Ayatollah Mahmudi St. in the Niavaran neighborhood.

* A collection of wooden sculptures by Setareh Aminollahi is on display in an exhibition at Mojdeh Gallery.

The exhibition named “Poetry in Wood Pores” will run until February 6 at the gallery located at 27 North Allameh Blvd., in the Saadatabad neighborhood.

* An exhibition of sculptures by Nima Tohidi is currently underway at Golestan Gallery.

The exhibit will be running until February 1 at the gallery located at 34 Kamasai St. in the Darus neighborhood.

* Mehran Malek is displaying his last collection of glass sculptures in an exhibition at Mess Negar Gallery.

The exhibition will run until January 30 at the gallery located at No. 5 in the Park Prince Building on Molla Sadra Highway.
