Iran offers condolences to Indonesia over deadly quake

TEHRAN – President Hassan Rouhani extended condolences to the Indonesian nation and government over a devastating earthquake that killed and displaced thousands of people.
In a message to his Indonesian counterpart Joko Widodo on Sunday, Rouhani voiced condolences to the Southeast Asian country’s president and people, Mehr reported.
He added that the Islamic Republic is prepared to send assistance and relief aid to Indonesia’s quake-hit regions.
Rouhani wished swift recovery for the injured, and patience for the bereaved families.
