TEHRAN – The Iranian Ministry of ICT has announced that Iran Connect, an ICT-related conference to be held in Tehran by a private British company, has removed its ban on Iran’s security and political officials who are under international sanctions in a bid to eliminate grounds for any suspicion by Iranian authorities.

The conference is merely technical, therefore no Iranian security or political official has requested a seat in it in the first place, the announcement published on the ministry’s website on Tuesday said.
