Chinese university opens center for Iranian studies

TEHRAN -- A center for Iranian studies opened at Jinan University in China on Wednesday.

The consul general of Iran in Guangzhou, Alireza Salarian, and Jinan University President Hu Jun attended the opening ceremony of the Center of Iranian Studies, the Persian service of IRNA reported on Friday.

Founded in 1906, Jinan University is one of the oldest academic centers in China.
