More Free Trade Zones To Be Set Up

TEHRAN The High Council of Commercial-Industrial free trade zones announced in its Wednesday's session that special trade zones for production and export of goods wil be set up within the framework of the economic rehabilitation plan, IRNA reported. The session, presided over by President Mohammad Khatami, debated the bill for the establishment and administration of special trade zones. The project will be enforced after the Majlis approval.
The council also ratified establishment of a 71 hectares of free trade zones in Doroud and Azna (Lorestan province) for processing and production of varying types of stones and minerals under rls 2,000 billion domestic and foreign investment.
