Iran’s Hajisafi praises Bundesliga 2 level
Iranian international Ehsan Hajisafi, who joined Bundesliga 2 side FSV Frankfurt from Sepahan last summer, believes that German 2nd division is almost at the same level of Europe’s top leagues.
“I think German 1st and 2nd division is almost at the same level and I have improved a lot in many ways since I came here to play for FSV Frankfurt. German football in general has an extraordinary discipline which I have not seen in the other countries,” Hajisafi said.
Hajisafi has managed to find the net from almost 50 meters out in the game against Freiburg and his wonderful goal has been featured in the top five goal of the month.
“That goal was not by chance as I’ve scored this kind of goals before especially in Sepahan and Team Melli. I’m happy that it has been featured among top five goals of the month and I hope I win the best goal prize,” Hajisafi added.
“I want to continue playing in Europe and I hope more Iranian players come to big teams as I believe Iran has a lot of talented players who are capable of playing at top level,” he added.
The 26-year-old defender who has scored six goals in 76 games for Iran is one of the key players of Carlos Queiroz squad in the road to 2018 World Cup in Russia.
