Iran's assistance to Lebanon reconstruction hailed

BEIRUT (IRNA) -- Lebanese Foreign Minister Fawzi Salloukh hailed on Monday Iran’s assistance to Lebanon reconstruction.
The Lebanese foreign minister made the remarks in a meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Beirut Mohammad Reza Sheibani.The two sides reviewed mutual, regional and international developments.
Referring to the recent meeting held by the two countries presidents on the sidelines of UN General Assembly meeting in New York, Fawzi Salloukh said the visit was regarded as a turning point in expansion of mutual and international cooperation between Iran and Lebanon.
The Iranian ambassador bade farewell to the Lebanese foreign minister at the end of his tenure in Lebanon.
After four years of service as Iran’s ambassador to Beirut, Sheibani is to serve as the new deputy foreign minister for Arabic and Common Wealth states.
