Persepolis’ search for victory in ACL

TEHRAN -- Iran’s Persepolis football team are to play Al-Shabab of Saudi Arabia in the Asian Champions League (ACL) at the King Fahd Stadium on Tuesday.

Persepolis who made a perfect start in their opener with a convincing 3-1 victory over Al-Sharjah of the United Arab Emirates will play the Al-Shabab team in Group B.
In the vital game the Iranian champions will be without their Serbian midfielder Ivan Petrovic due to his illness.
Another Iranian team, Saba Battery, will play Al-Ahli of the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday.
