President tells Mauritanian minister: Islamic World must confront arrogance

TEHRAN – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said the “political alliance of arrogant powers” against the Islamic world has collapsed, insisting that Islamic nations must maintain cooperation to move toward development and resist against global arrogance.

In a meeting with the Mauritanian information minister here on Monday, he said Third World countries are gifted with necessary resources for progress but they are suffering from poverty and lack of development due to policies imposed by bullying powers.
The arrogant powers through their divisive actions take advantage of resources of regional and Islamic countries on one side and dictate their policies to these nations on the other.
He went on to say that expanding ties with African countries is atop Iran’s foreign policy, adding that Tehran has no limitation to share its experiences in different fields with Mauritania.
For his part, the Mauritanian official said Iran is an example of resistance against global arrogance, adding that Tehran plays an important role in defending justice globally.
He also delivered a massage from the Mauritanian president to Ahmadinejad.
He said Mauritania looks forward to use Iran’s experiences in the path to economic prosperity.
Pointing the Zionist regime’s war crimes against civilians in the Gaza Strip, the minister said Mauritania has broken off its relations with Tel Aviv completely.
No democratic country should have relations with this criminal regime, he noted
