Iran Seafood Expo 2008 slated for Nov. 25-28

TEHRAN – The 6th International Fisheries, Aquaculture and Seafood Exhibition will be held from November 25 to 28 in Kish Island, southern Iran.

IRIB quoted Behrouz Kakavand, the managing director of Iranian Fisheries Export Development Fund as saying that the expo aims to showcase the latest achievements and abilities of Iran in the fields of fisheries and related industries.
The official added that the fair will display the domestic and foreign companies products in the fields of seafood, fish powder, food complements for aquaculture, fisheries output, and connected machineries and industries.
The 6th International Fisheries, Aquaculture and Seafood Exhibition is the main and largest commercial expo held annually in Kish Island.
The 5th Iran International Fisheries, Aquaculture & Seafood Exhibition was successfully held from 27-30 November 2007 in a 3000 sqm area, attracting 100 Iranian companies and 35 companies from 17 countries including UK, Spain, France, Norway, Italy, Greece, the Netherlands, Germany, China, the Persian Gulf littoral states and the U.S.
