Iran, Poland Discuss Sports, Tourism Cooperation

BONN Tehran-Warsaw cooperation in the fields of sports and tourism were discussed in a meeting of Iran's Ambassador to Warsaw, Mohammad Taheri with Polish Minister of Sports and Tourism Jacek Debski Monday evening. Debski expressed regret that due to changes in the sports organizations of Poland, the national polish soccer team failed to travel to Iran to hold friendlies. He expressed the hope that the Polish team will travel to Iran in the coming months.
He also proposed that Iran and Poland exchange wrestling teams, As part of the sports agreements between the two countries, Poland is to exchange educational and coaching information with Iran and to hold friendlies. (IRNA)
