TEHRAN – Situated just 15 kilometers from the city of Hamadan near a road to Malayer, Abshineh wetland, stands as a testament to Iran's rich environmental heritage.

Spanning an impressive 85 hectares, the site can be reached downstream from a dam of the same name which is fed by the Abshineh river. Also known as the Yalfan, the river originates near the village of Yalfan, nourishing the region with its life-giving waters.
