Building 12,000 housing units for the underprivileged to begin
TEHRAN — As per a memorandum of understanding signed between Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation, Budget and Planning Organization as well as the Islamic Revolution Housing Foundation, a project for construction of 12,000 housing units for the underprivileged will get off the ground in southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan, Mehr reported on Friday.
Parviz Fattah, the head of Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation explained that the housing units will be completed within a year.
Building housing units for financially struggling families especially in southeastern Iran is a priority for the organization, Fattah highlighted.
Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation is a charitable organization, founded in March 1979, after the Islamic Revolution, to provide support for families who are struggling financially. The aim is to help such families regain financial stability.
