294-bed hospital inaugurated in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad
TEHRAN — A hospital with 294 beds was inaugurated in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, western Iran, on Friday.
The 8-storey hospital, stretching over 50,000 square meters with 24,800 square meters superstructure, is comprising 32 specialty and sub-specialty wards.
It was launched in a ceremony with Health Minister Hassan Qazizadeh-Hashemi in attendance, Health Ministry official website reported.
The completion of the hospital took 10 years and some 900 billion rials (nearly $22 million) was spend on its construction, the report added.
Additionally some 800 billion rials (nearly $19 million) was paid out for equipping the hospital.
The report also adds that the hospital is including various departments such as pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery, ICU, NICU, CCU, PICU, POST CCU, oncology, hematology, immunology, reconstructive surgery, cardiology, etc. to name a few.
