Ground broken for 540-bed hospital in Chabahar

TEHRAN – Construction of a new hospital with a capacity of 540 beds started in Chabahar, southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan, Fars reported on Sunday.

Over a ceremony attended by Health Minister Hassan Qazizadeh-Hashemi, the project was officially launched.

The 13-storey hospital will be constructed on a land measuring 230,000 square meters during a 3-year period, according to the report.

Several health care and medical projects will be also inaugurated during the minister’s trip to the province.
