Iran, Turkey sign MOU on e-health development
TEHRAN - Iran’s Salamat health insurance organization and Turkey’s Medofas Medical signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate on developing their healthcare systems through the use of information technology and electronic infrastructures, IRIB reported on Saturday.
On the sidelines of the signing ceremony, Taher Mouhebati, the director of Salamat health organization, said Iran seeks the consultation and specialized knowledge of countries who have been successful in the health sector.
“We started this collaboration because of Turkey’s successful experience in launching an electronic system for its health sector,” he said.
The MOU will prepare the ground for both countries to tap into the engineering capacity of each other, he concluded.
