TEHRAN - Iran has been designated as a guest of honor for the 9th Western China Cultural Industries Expo, which will be held in the city of Xi’an from September 7 to 10, CHTN reported. 

Clusters of Iranian artists, musicians, craftspeople and tourism associates will take part in the event to introduce homeland rituals and attractions, the report said.  

The Touring & Automobile Club of the Islamic Republic of Iran in close collaboration with the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Organization will run the country’s pavilion, which will be set up in an area of 300 square meters.

Hundreds of Chinese exhibitors plus a total of 623 international ones attended the previous edition of the expo, according to sxtour.com.
