TEHRAN – Over 30 startup funds, accelerators and incubators as well as science and technology parks will attend the 24th Iran International Exhibition of Electronics, Computer & E-commerce (ELECOMP), which will be held from July 28 to 31 in Tehran, Mehr reported.

About 650 Iranian startups will also attend ELECOM Stars and ElECOM Games sections of the event.

Around 70 startups from seven countries will attend ELECOM stars of ELECOMP 2018, head of the ICT Guild Organization Mohammad Baqer Asna-Ashari told IRNA in early June.

Asna-Ashari also pointed out that a special place will be allotted for electronic government in ELECOMP 2018 in which state-run organizations can introduce their services to the visitors.

According to ELECOMP website since its first edition in 1995, the event has been providing a unique opportunity for businesses to increase their share of this huge and ever-growing market. 

The number of startups attending the event is expected to increase compared with previous years. The first ELECOMP hosted about 100 startups and the number rose to 450 in last year’s exhibition.
