Iran, Brazil health sectors to expand co-op

TEHRAN – Iran and Brazil have inked a memorandum of understanding to expand ties in the field of medical equipment.

The MOU was signed in Brasilia with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Brazilian counterpart Aloysio Nunes in attendance, ISNA reported on Thursday.

Facilitating the participation of Iranian medical equipment manufacturers in an international trade fair for hospital equipment and supplies which will be held in Brazil this year, was part of the MOU.

Using the experiences of Brazil regarding the quality control of medical equipment, and carrying out joint investment projects to manufacture medical equipment in Iran are among other articles of this MOU.
