‘Iran ready to boost health co-op with Mexico’
TEHRAN – In a meeting with the president of Mexico’s health commission Senator Salvador López Brito on Saturday, the Iranian ambassador to Mexico Mohammad Taqi Hosseini expressed Iran’s readiness to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the health sector.
Referring to Iran’s achievements in drug manufacturing, Hosseini highlighted that Iran is ready to produce drugs and vaccines in Mexico, IRNA reported.
López Brito, for his part, said that Mexico welcomes cooperation with Iran in all fields.
He went on to say that many international pharmaceutical companies are active in Mexico. However, the country wants to make this market more competitive so that price of drugs to be pushed down and all the people can easily access their required drugs.
