Reaping wheat in a traditional way in a village in Isfahan province, central Iran, renews memories of the not-too-distant years when farmers had to collect their crops traditionally, mostly using sickle. This picture shows reaping in the village called Soh, which is about 3000-years old. Still in the not-too distant past Iranians greatly cherished wheat or bread as the breadbasket of the families. Even today Iranians eat bread a lot, ranking among the first two countries in the world.
