altTEHRAN – The commander of Khatam-ol-Anbiya military base announced on Thursday that ‘Bavar-373” missile system is much more advanced than the Russian S-300.

He added the system has been fully designed by Iranian experts.

Iran embarked on designing Bavar-373 after Russia, under pressure from the West, reneged on a 2007 contract to deliver the S-300 missile system to Iran.
