TEHRAN – Director of the Department for Campaign against Smuggling of Goods and Foreign Currency, Fatollah Zamanian, said on Sunday 392 goods smuggling networks have been smashed and 32,400 smugglers have been arrested over the past 6 months.

 The value of the seized goods is equal to 3,976 billion rials (approximately $373m), Zamanian stated. He went on to say that the police will conduct about 14 operations in the future to counter goods smuggling.
