TEHRAN — To financially support families with triplets or more Iran’s Welfare State Organization will pay a monthly allowance worth of 1.5 million rials (about $43) per child, ISNA news agency reported.

On a session held last week, the supreme council for welfare and social supports resolved to allocate a budget to multiple birth families.

Chief of State Welfare Organization of Iran, Anoushiravan Mohseni Bandpey announced that “in line with our population [growth] policies the budget has been allocated and we can spend it.”

“The allowance is specified to expenses such as pre-school tuition fees, babysitters and other ongoing expenses,” he added.
