Iranian Ash festival wraps up 

The 12th national festival on Ash – a traditional slow-cooked, thick soup made with chickpeas, beans, noodles, and fresh herbs, wrapped up on Sunday. The event has been held annually since 2005 in Zanjan, northwest Iran. This year it was held from August 30-September 3.Tehran Times/Mehdi Almasi
