Ceremonies marking Imam Khomeini’s death anniversary

TEHRAN- A large-scale mourning ceremony was held on Sunday, June 4, to mark the death anniversary of Imam Khomeini. Tens of thousands of people from all walks of life took part in the ceremony. Mid-ranking and senior officials also attended the congregation. Imam Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, died on June 4, 1989.
