Mrs. Dabbagh's Memoirs to be Published

TEHRAN -- The Islamic Republic of Iran's Literature Department of the Arts Seminary is to publish Mrs. Marzieh Dabbagh Hadidchi's memoirs soon, the department's public relations reported.

Dabbagh was born in 1939 in the northwestern city of Hamadan. After coming to Tehran, she joined the Islamic activist circles and was imprisoned twice by the former regime.

After meeting with the late Imam Khomeini in Nofle le Chateau, Paris, she was assigned to guard him.

During the post Islamic Revolution period, she took over different responsibilities including, her Moscow mission along with the Iranian delegation to submit the late Imam Khomeini's historic letter to Mikhail Gorbachev, before the Soviet Union's collapse in 1991.
