Ancient Golden Ornaments Displayed at National Museum

TEHRAN - Several ancient golden ornaments including a bracelet, a necklace, golden cups and a mandala are being displayed at the Iranian National Museum.
Both sides of the golden bracelet, which is from the Achaemenid era, are decorated with lion heads.
The golden necklace and other gold ornaments were discovered in Ziviyeh, Kordestan, and date back to the 1st millennium B.C.
The mandala was discovered in Arjan and is from the first half of the 8th century B.C.
The golden cups were discovered in Marlik and Amarlou in Gilan Province and date back to the 1st millennium B.C.
