TEHRAN The Iran-Cuba Friendship Society in a communique issued on Sunday condemned the Israeli racist regime's crimes of genocide committed against Palestinians in the occupied territories.

"The Israeli genocide across the occupied territories has touched the international community deeply. Their felonies, backed by the United States, are so horrible that United Nations and global mass media representatives as well as those of international organizations have no words to describe them," it added.

It said: "The Israeli regime has besieged Palestinian Leader Yasser Arafat's Ramallah Headquarters, fired upon alleged Palestinian terrorists and destroyed their houses with bulldozers despite the global sympathy for the Palestinians."

According to the statement, the Palestinians' decades-old Intifada (uprising) requires global support and solidarity.

Referring to the society's unconditional support for the Palestinians' right to decide their own fate, it called for an end to the Zionist regime's crimes in Palestine and the immediate withdrawal of the Israeli army from occupied lands.
