TEHRAN -- Iran's Ambassador to Beirut Mohammad Ali Sobhani supported Lebanese government's right on Monday to hold strict control over the Shebaa region in southern Lebanon. In a meeting with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, Sobhani said that the Islamic Republic of Iran would go ahead with its support for Lebanon, which is reinforcing its control over the liberated southern Lebanon from the Zionist control. He said now the Muslim countries need to get more united than ever vis-a-vis the Zionist threat. Sobhani condemned the United States' backing of the Zionist regime of Israel, IRNA reported.
