Russia, India, Iran Discuss Prospects for Transport Corridor

TEHRAN Delegations from Russia, Iran and India will discuss prospects for creating a trilateral north-south' transport corridor during a first tripartite meeting set to open here on Sunday, the Russian news agency, ITAR-TASS, has reported. A spokesman for the Iranian Transport and Terminals Organization said that broadening cooperation between Russia, Iran and India in the are of cargo traffic via the prospective transport corridor would dominate the agenda. Participants are expected to outline measures to make cargo transportation more effective.
