Bangladesh Launches Second National Economic Census

DHAKA Bangladesh Sunday launched its second national economic census to develop a modern database of different sub-sectors of the economy, AFP quoted officials here as saying.

Some 45,000 personnel and volunteers fanned out to cities and urban districts under the first phase of the five-day census to collect data on industrial, business and all other economic activities, they said.
