Iranian Embassy Marks Army Day in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad marked the Army Day, by holding a splendid function at its premises, on Wednesday night.
The function was attended, besides high-ranking civil and military officers of Pakistan, by the Pakistani Interior Minister Lt. General (retd.) Moinuddin Haider and chief of staff of the Pakistan Air Force Air Marshal Mushaf Ali Mir. Islamabad-based foreign diplomats also attended the function, IRNA reported.
The participants congratulated the Iranian Ambassador Seyed Serajeddin Mousavi and the defense attache Colonel Kamal Imami, on this occasion.
Several films about the performance, maneuvers and exercises of the Iranian Armed Forces were shown on this occasion in which the participants took keen interest.
