TEHRAN Dr. Mohammad-Taqi Zamanian is the first Iranian national, who was selected as a member of the Joint Scientific Committee (JSC), Iran Meteorological Organization announced yesterday.

The JSC has 11 members from among developed and developing countries, supervises the ratification and implementation of research projects at world level and makes coordination for research works.

The JSC gives scientific instructions about meteorological programs and systems at global level and contributes to the materialization of the objectives of the World Meteorological Organization.
