Commander: Iran Defensively Twice Stronger Than Wartime

SHIRAZ, Fars Province Ground Force Commander of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Mohammad-Ali Ja'fari said here Tuesday that Iran is defensively at least twice stronger today than it was during wartime with neighboring Iraq.
He called on IRGC members to become religiously and ideologically firmer and better informed of international developments, and promote their professional capabilities.
IRGC Ground Force commander here Tuesday inaugurated Valiollah Nanvakenari as commander of Al-Mahdi Airborne Brigade 33, and appreciated the services of his predecessor.
