Two New Ships to Join Iran's Shipping Fleet

TEHRAN The Shahid Rajaei jetty at the southern port of Bandar Abbas will stage the harboring of the two newly bought ships on Thursday, the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) reported here on Tuesday.
According to the report, one the new ships which are to join Iran's shipping fleet is the 3,300-ton container carrier Iran-Isfahan, the third out of the four container carrier ships bought from South Korea.
The other vessel is the giant 22,600-ton multipurpose Iran-Baluchestan ship, the last out of the five ships bought from China, the report added.
