Iran presenting 300 titles in Dushanbe International Book Exhibition

TEHRAN- Iran has participated in the 12th Dushanbe International Book Exhibition, which was inaugurated on Tuesday in Dushanbe.

The opening ceremony was attended by the deputy culture minister of Tajikistan and mayor of Dushanbe as well as ambassadors from Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Russia, IRNA reported.

Iran’s pavilion at the fair is presenting 300 titles in the fields of classic and modern literature (prose and poetry), Persian language and handwriting training, children and young adults, history, and Tajik poets’ books published in Iran.

In addition to Iran, the Russian Federation, Belarus, India, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and more than 30 domestic publishing companies have attended this year’s edition of the Dushanbe Book International Exhibition.
